Living School Students in the LS Open Studio student-run business is commissioned for a House Float by the Black Seminole dolls, an iconic group within New Orleans’ Black Mardi Gras tradition during the cancellation of Mardi Gras due to the pandemic.

Camp Oya (2017-2020) was a multidisciplinary summer arts and entrepreneurship program that focused on serving  Greater New Orleans area youth ages 14 - 18 who were well loved by hard working families but had limited access to fine arts programming. Developed by Artist Journey Allen and facilitated by community volunteers, youth were able to experience New Orleans through the lens of art, community partnership, advocacy, and entrepreneurship by way art-based activities and a culminating marketplace that featured student artwork and each of the businesses piloted by youth participants
